One Piece Celebrates the Birthday of Yamato

November 3rd marks the birthday of Yamato from ONE PIECE, so the official profiles have commemorated the occasion with several posts. Firstly, the official Twitter @Eiichiro_Staff shared an image of the character with a celebration message. You can see it below:

Besides the above, the official Twitter account of the “One Piece” portal site @OPcom_info shared a special birthday illustration and celebration message for Yamato:

The same account also posted a highlight video-reel of the character:

Meanwhile, the official recommended hashtag for the celebration is #ヤマト誕生祭2021. Many fans are using it to celebrate the beloved character’s birthday with special illustrations and scenes from the ONE PIECE anime, as well as the manga.

The introduction of Yamato

Yamato first appeared in the 2nd WE ARE ONE episode, which featured some the show’s strongest female characters. Hayami Saori was revealed as the voice actress. She also talked about what an honor it is to voice the character. Her first appearance in the anime was episode 990 of ONE PIECE, and she has since already become one of the favorites for the anime fans. One Piece Celebration

ONE PIECE is commemorating the 100th volume which released on September 3rd and the upcoming anime episode 1000 (confirmed for November 21) with several other projects. One of them was the “TWILIGHT” song by RADWIMPS, which has an awesome music video:

It was used in the recent “WE ARE ONE” video collection, which featured 5 episodes of mixed live-action and with some older anime scenes re-animated into modern animation. You can also check them all out (titled by the animated parts):

You can watch One Piece on either Funimation or Crunchyroll, and Episode 998 will premiere next week on November 7, 2021. You can also catch up to the One Piece manga for free on either VIZ website or MANGA Plus
