The upcoming special edition of Lord El Melloi II’s Case Files {Rail Zeppelin} Grace Note revealed a new key visual. Studio TROYCA is producing the series and it will premiere on December 31 as a part of the Fate Project New Year’s Eve TV Special 2021.

Cast & Production
The cast of Lord El Melloi II’s Case Files includes Daisuke Namikawa (Mushoku Tensei, Ruijerd) as Lord El-Melloi II and Reina Ueda (World’s Finest Assassin, Dia) as Gray.
Makoto Katō directed Lord El Melloi II’s Case Files at studio TROYCA (ALDNOAH.ZERO, Re:CREATORS). Ei Aoki, the director of Fate/Zero, supervised the series to keep it consistent with the rest of the Fate universe. Ukyō Kodachi wrote the script while Jun Nakai designed the characters. Yuki Kajiura (Fate/Zero, Sword Art Online) composed the music.
Lord El Melloi II’s Case Files TV Anime
The 12-episode TV anime Lord El Melloi II’s Case Files {Rail Zeppelin} Grace Note previously aired from July 6 to September 28, 2019. It is based on Makoto Sanda and Mineji Sakamoto’s light novel, which came to an end in May 17, 2019.
The plot takes place between Fate/Zero and Fate/stay night, and focuses on Lord El-Melloi II (Waver Velvet), a former master who now investigates many mysteries following his participation in the Fourth Holy Grail War.
Waver Velvet – The boy who fought side by side with the King of Conquerors, Iskandar, during the Fourth Holy Grail War in Fate/Zero. Time has passed, and the mature Waver has now adopted the name of Lord El-Melloi II.

As Lord El-Melloi II, he takes on numerous magical and mystical cases in the Clock Tower, the mages’ mecca. Based on the popular novel by Makoto Sanda, this incredible story has finally been made into a new animated series. In this series, original episodes that will lead to the arc will be featured as well.
