Funimation has been streaming the anime adaptation since October 6, 2021. Wolfsbane (Peter Grill) and Studio Flad (Dame x Prince) are animating it, while Makoto Hoshino (King’s Raid) is currently directing.
Kadokawa Shoten started serializing Zappon’s Banished From Hero’s Party, I Decided to Live a Quiet Life in the Countryside light novel series in June 2018. The light novel is still ongoing and it currently has 8 volumes available. The same publisher is publishing a manga adaptation, which currently has 6 volumes in circulation.
