The Strongest Sage with the Weakest Crest anime revealed a preview for episode 1, which is set to air on January 8. The preview includes staff information, a synopsis, as well as preview images. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime in English.
Staff includes Hiroki Uchida, who is writing the script and also doing series composition for the Strongest Sage anime. Noriaki Akitaya, the director, is on the storyboard. Shuuji Miyazaki is directing the episode, while Mina Osawa (character designer for the anime) is listed as chief animation director.

Mathias, a twelve-year-old boy of noble birth, goes to take the entrance exam for a school in the royal capital to learn magic.
