Healer Girl revealed a new trailer along with April 4 release date. Studio 3Hz is animating the original TV anime. The new trailer features the theme songs performed by special unit Healer Girl which consists of cast members:
- OP: “Feel You, Heal You” by Healer Girl
- ED: “Believe Like Singing” by Healer Girl
The unit will be collaborating with Japanese singer May J. to produce covers of “Cruel Angel’s Thesis” and “Hanamizuki“. and The main cast includes:
- Karin Isobe as Kana Fuji
- Marina Horiuchi as Reimi Itsushiro
- Akane Kumada as Hibiki Morishima
- Chihaya Yoshitake as Sonia Yanagi
The story is set in a world where three types of medicine exist. Western, Eastern, and the “voice healing” in which patients are healed through music or singing. Three apprentice healers are working together in Karasuma Voice Treatment Center. They are Kana Fuji, an energetic mood maker, Reimi Itsushiro, who can come across as standoffish, Hibiki Morishima, a quiet older sister type who is also a bit firm when needed, and Sonia Yanagi, who returned from abroad and who is classed as C-class healer. The four of them train together to be able to fulfill their dreams of healing people through song.
Yasuhiro Irie is directing the anime, with Yukie Akiya in charge of the character designs. Noboru Kimura is overseeing series composition, while also writing the screenplay. Ryo Takahashi is composing the music.
