Kirby's 30th Anniversary Celebration Gets Music Concert

Nintendo announced a music-concert festival for Kirby’s 30th-anniversary celebration. According to the official website, the big-band event will include “original medleys of songs from past titles in the series while reminiscing on your memories with them.” It will feature an ensemble of 35 musicians performing in a variety of genres, as well as a large moving, LED Kirby! The event will be held at the Tokyo Garden Theater.

Moreover, Kirby’s music concert will be available to watch online for free in Japan and in other selected regions all over the world. It will stream on August 11, 2022, at 18:00 (JST), on the official Kirby Youtube channel. More details will be released at a later date.

It’s certainly a nostalgic moment for a lot of Kirby fans, especially with the celebration of Kirby’s recognizable soundtrack music. A trailer also reveals the cute visuals of Waddle Dee, Meta Knight, King Dedede, Chef Kawasaki, Elfilin, Magolor, Marx, and the star of the show — the pink puffball, Kirby. The year 2022 marks the 30th anniversary of the Kirby series. Additionally, the upcoming 3D game is also part of the celebration, which will be released this March 25. It is available for demo and pre-order on Nintendo’s website for USD $59.99.
