The upcoming Mato Seihei no Slave (Chained Soldier) anime announced some additional cast information for the series during the AnimeJapan 2022. Studio Seven Arcs (Tonikaku Kawaii) is animating the series.
The new cast additions include:
- Reina Ueda as Sahara Wakasa
- Nene Hieda as Yachiho Azuma
- Maaya Uchida as Tenka Izumo
The previously announced main cast of Mato Seihei no Slave include:
- Yuya Hirose as Yuuki Wakura
- Akari Kito as Kyouka Uzen
- Hina Tachibana as Nei Okawamura
- Yume Miyamoto as Himari Azuma
- Mari Hino as Shushu Suruga
The anime is based on Takahiro’s Mato Seihei no Slave (Chained Soldier) manga series, with Youhei Takemura as the illustrator. Shueisha has been serializing it since 2019, and it currently has 9 volumes available. Yen Press licensed the Mato Seihei no Slave manga series in English and describes the plot as:
Otherworldly spaces known as “demon cities” appeared in various parts of Japan, and those who partook in the “peaches” growing there gained unique abilities-but only if they’re girls. One day, a down-in-the-dumps high school boy named Yuuki Wagura suddenly gets lost at the entrance of a demon city. There, he meets Kyoka Uzen, the beautiful leader of the seven programs of “Magical Defense Corps,” whoo orders him to become her slave?!
