Nearly 3 years after the prototype was revealed, Kinetiquettes finally opened up pre-orders for the 1/10th scale Attack on Titan diorama titled “Hope for Humanity.” The diorama features Eren in the midst of his titan transformation along with attachable Mikasa and Levi. It is made to order and expected to ship in the 4th quartal of 2023, with the 2700$ price point for all addons.
The sculptors behind the Attack on Titan set are Wandah Kurnikawan and Claudio Saavedra Iriarte, while the painting was done by Artizlabel and Adeeb Md. The “Hope for Humanity” diorama weighs around 22kg (48.5 pounds) and is 71cm (27.9″) in height, 66cm (25.9″) long, and 64cm (25.1″) wide. It also features LED lights that allow it to light up, giving it an effect that is similar to the one seen in the anime.
Attack on Titan manga was written and illustrated by Hajime Isayama. The series spawned a successful TV anime, animated by WIT Studio (first 3 seasons) and then later studio MAPPA. The final season of the series has been split into 3 parts, with the last one set to air in 2023. In addition to the TV anime, the franchise has spawned 8 OVA episodes and multiple recap movies.
Attack on Titan manga was licensed by Kodansha in English with the anime streaming on Netflix, Crunchyroll, Tubi TV, VRV, Hulu, and iQIYI in select regions. Kodansha describes the plot as:
A century ago, the grotesque giants known as Titans appeared and consumed all but a few thousand humans. The survivors took refuge behind giant walls. Today, the threat of the Titans is a distant memory, and a boy named Eren yearns to explore the world beyond Wall Maria.
