The upcoming original anime Love Flops revealed a key visual along with October 12 premiere date. Kadokawa’s anime will be animated by studio Passione. The first and second episodes were pre-screened today in Japan.
“Flop Around” by Miku Ito, Ayana Taketatsu, Rie Takahashi, Hisako Kanemoto, and Marika Kono is the ending theme song for the Flop Around anime. These voice actresses are also in the cast, which includes:
- Ryota Osaka as Asahi Kashiwagi
- Miku Ito as Aoi Izumisawa
- Ayana Taketatsu as Amelia Irving
- Rie Takahashi as Ilya Ilyukhin
- Hisako Kanemoto as Bai Mongfa
- Marika Kono as Karin Istel
- Jun Fukuyama as Yoshio Ijuin
Nobuyoshi Nagayama is directing the anime, with Midori Yui and Fujiaki Asari as assistant directors. Ryo Yasumoto is writing the script, while Kazuyuki Ueda is designing the characters. Kenichiro Suehiro is composing the music. A trailer was previously revealed and it features the opening theme song “Love? Reason Why!!” by Konomi Suzuki.
Love Flops (Renai Flops) is a romantic comedy series, focused on five girls, all of which attend or work in the same high school. Asahi Kashiwagi and his friend Yoshio Ijuin meet Aoi Izumisawa, as well as three transfer students – Amelia Irving, Ilya Ilyukhin, and Karin Istel. A teacher named Bai Mongfa is also involved in their interactions.
