Kao ni Denai Kashiwada-san to Kao ni Deru Oota-kun (Expressionless Face Girl and Emotional Face Boy) manga received a commercial by studio Seven Arcs, which previously worked on titles such as Arte, Dog Days, and TONIKAWA: Fly Me to the Moon, is in charge of animation. The video also features voice actors Shiori Mikami and Daisuke Kishio, who are voicing the protagonists:

Fuyu Azuma is writing the Kao ni Denai Kashiwada-san to Kao ni Deru Oota-kun manga, which started publishing in 2018. The manga has not been licensed in English, but the Expressionless Face Girl and Emotional Face Boy title is used in the commercial. The plot follows Kashiwada, who always reminds cold and emotionless. Unfortunately for her, she meets Ota, who is unable to control his facial expressions and is set on messing with her, against his better judgment.
