Vaundy performed the first ending song “CHAINSAW BLOOD”, while Zutomayo performed the second one “Time Left”. The third ending song featured “2-hundred-million-centimeter-long blades” by MAXIMUM THE HORMONE, while the fourth one was “Jozai (tablet)” performed by TOOBOE. The fight one was “In The Back Room“ performed by syudou.
The anime was voted the most anticipated show of Fall 2022, and it also topped its 1st weekly chart after narrowly beating out BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War (the difference between the two shows was only 0.13%). In the 3rd week, it placed 2nd behind BLEACH, and it kept the same rank in week 4 and week 5. However, it saw its first drop last week, when it fell to 5th. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime, and they describe the story:
Denji is a teenage boy living with a Chainsaw Devil named Pochita. Due to the debt his father left behind, he has been living a rock-bottom life while repaying his debt by harvesting devil corpses with Pochita. One day, Denji is betrayed and killed. As his consciousness fades, he makes a contract with Pochita and gets revived as “Chainsaw Man”–a man with a devil’s heart.
