Kana Hanazawa to Release New Photobook in December

Voice actress and singer Kana Hanazawa announced that she will be releasing a new photobook on December 23rd. The release was announced on her website and social media accounts. Hanazawa Kana wa Oshare ni Naritai or Kana Hanazawa wants to be very fashionable will be Hanazawa’s first photo book in over two and a half years. The content will feature various photos in various locations and outfits.

The description on the official website reads, The book was shot and produced mainly by creators who are active in fashion magazines and captures Kana Hanazawa’s charm from various angles, including location shooting in downtown Tokyo, artistic shooting, and beauty projects that capture her private life.” An Instagram account has also been launched, teasing pictures and videos from some of the shoots featured in the photobook.

Two editions are planned for release with the regular edition featuring 128 pages of content and available for purchase at 2,750 yen (around $19.60). A limited release, with added benefits, available from November 11th to December 4th, will be retailed at 3,300 yen (around $23.50) and will include lottery participation for the release event scheduled to be held in Tokyo in late December, as well limited edition photobook covers, postcard sets, and an A2 poster.

Kana Hanazawa is affiliated with Office Osawa for her seiyuu-related activities and Sony Music for her Artist related activities. She’s been married to fellow voice actor Kensho Ono; the pair announced the marriage in July 2020. Hanazawa is best known for her roles as Kanade Tachibana (Angel Beats), and Mayuri Shiina (Steins;Gate). Her other popular roles include Kosaki Onodera from Nisekoi, Ruri Gokou from OreImo, Akane Tsunemori from Psycho-Pass, and Shiro from Deadman Wonderland.
