Tetsu Inada Says He Felt Heavy Voicing Endeavor in My Hero Academia 6

My Hero Academia Season 6‘s 11th episode aired on Saturday, and Tetsu Inada, the voice actor of the Flame Hero Endeavor in the anime, shared his feelings about the episode titled “Dabi’s Dance.” The episode featured a big reveal for the Todoroki family and Endeavor was once again reminded that he can’t just forget about his past.

I finally saw HeroAca,” the voice actor begins to express his thought and continues: “I felt that I should accept it as soon as possible. It felt as heavy as expected. I remember it felt difficult to record. With that being said, I hope you don’t worry or feel sorry for me, because the pain I’m going through at this time is the right thing for the person playing the role. I’m all right because I don’t take the difficult emotions brought by my roles into my private life. I’ll suffer hard times only at the recording session and keep trying my best in the future.”

In the next tweet, he talks highly of Best Jeanist hero and the character’s voice actor: “Anyway, look at how cool Best Jeanist made a gallant appearance on the verge of the heroes’ collapse! And Midorikawa-senpai’s voice is cool and dependable! Without that, I would have had a hard week, but he saved me perfectly. He is exactly a hero!” The tweet concludes with a short comment on the family of Endeavor in the next episode of My Hero Academia: “And the Todoroki family will continue to go through hell next week.” Tetsu Inada voiced the roles of Kurogane in Tsubasa Chronicle and Sajin Komamura in Bleach.
