Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Anime To Adapt Sasuke's Story Novel From January 2023, Code Arc To Follow

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations is set to adapt Sasuke’s Story—The Uchiha and the Heavenly Stardust (Sasuke Retsuden) as its next arc, which will begin in January 2023. The ifnormation was revealed during Jump Festa ’23 panel dedicated to the series. Yuko Sanpei (Boruto), Junko Takeuchi (Naruto), and Noriaki Sugiyama (Sasuke) attended. Key visual was revealed:

Sasuke’s arc will be followed by Code arc, which is set to premiere in February. The arc is part of the Boruto manga.

In addition to Sasuke’s story getting adapted, a worldwide Naruto character poll will also be held – fans will be able to pick their favorite shinobi. Results will be out in April 2023; fans can vote once a day and the top 20 characters will get illustrations drawn by Kishimoto. The winner will be the star of a new short manga, also written and drawn by Kishimoto. The voting has already begun. Naruto Music live event is also coming in the fall of 2023. It will feature FLOW, KANA-BOON, CHiCO with HoneyWorks, and more. Both of these are part of the 20th-anniversary celebrations for the anime.

Naruto is a manga written by Masashi Kishi. It began serialization in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump in September 1999 and ran for 15 years, until November 2014. A total of 72 volumes have been published. Studio Pierrot animated the adaptation, which premiered in October 2002. The anime was followed by a sequel titled Naruto Shippuden which had 500 episodes.

Pierrot is also adapting the Boruto manga, originally written by Ukyo Kodachi. Naruto author, Masashi Kishimoto later took over the story, which features Ikemoto’s illustrations. The manga started in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in 2016 but moved to V Jump in 2019. The Boruto: Naruto Next Generations anime adaptation began broadcasting in April 2017. The story follows Naruto’s son, Boruto.

Viz Media licensed Sasuke’s Story-The Uchiha and the Heavenly Stardust novel in English, and they describe its story:
Uchiha Sasuke heads for an astronomical observatory, far from the Land of Fire. There, he syncs up with Sakura, and together they dive into an undercover investigation in search of traces of the Sage of Six Paths! They discover a plan that goes beyond life and death, and a battle that will test this husband-and-wife team till death do they part.
