The preview images for episode 13 of Blue Lock were revealed on Wednesday. Episode 13 will air on Saturday, January 7. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime with English subtitles.

Blue Lock is an anime adaptation of the original manga series written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yusuke Nomura which began publishing in 2018 under Weekly Shonen Magazine. Blue Lock is directed by Tetsuaki Watanabe and is animated by studio 8bit. Taku Kishimoto is in charge of the series composition and script. Kenji Tanabe and Kento Toya will handle the character designs. Jun Murayama will produce the soundtrack.

Blue Lock is a direct adaptation of the manga that Kodansha Comics describes as:
After a disastrous defeat at the 2018 World Cup, Japan’s team struggles to regroup. But what’s missing? An absolute Ace Striker, who can guide them to the win.
