The TV anime Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible released a preview for episode 4 on Friday. Love is in the air as the upcoming episode will feature Valentine’s Day. It’s supposed to be just a normal weekday for Shiraishi who is a “mob,” but he finds a heart-shaped chocolate cookie inside his desk. The Valentine’s Day episode of Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible airs on Tuesday, January 31.
Yoshinobu Tokumoto will be directing and handling the storyboard of the upcoming episode with Yoshiko Saito and Ko Aine as the chief animation directors. Studio PINE JAM is animating the series with Kazuomi Koga as director. Yuya Takahashi is writing the scripts and Yoshiko Saito is doing the character designs. Kana Hanazawa who voices Nagisa Kubo is also performing the opening theme while the voice actor unit Dialogue+ is singing the ending theme. The anime will air up until the sixth episode this season: it has been delayed due to the effects of COVID-19 on the production schedule and broadcast will restart in April with the first episode.
HIDIVE is streaming Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible and they described the series as follows:
Junta Shiraishi has just one goal: to experience youth to the fullest! But this is easier said than done. Junta is so socially invisible that people at school would swear he skipped class even when he’s sitting right behind them. Everything changes when Junta meets Nagisa Kubo. She’s the only person who pays Junta any attention, and her constant teasing is sure to turn Junta’s quiet life upside down because Kubo won’t let him be invisible! Based on the seinen rom-com manga series by Nene Yukimori and serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump since October 2019.
