The previously announced anime project for World Dai Star unveiled a new visual during Anime Japan 2023 held on Sunday. There will be a special broadcast scheduled this coming April 1 to deliver more information regarding the multimedia project. The anime is slated to premiere on April 9 and it previously revealed a special trailer.
World Dai Star is a multimedia project with a story written by Takahiro (Akame ga Kill) and original characters designed by illustrator Mika Pikazo (virtual YouTuber Hakos Baelz designer). Yu Kinome (Idoly Pride) is directing the anime series with a series composition supervised by Yasuhiro Nakanishi (Kaguya-sama: Love is War Season 2). Majiro (22/7) is adapting Pikazo’s original character designs for the anime. The main cast of the anime consists of the following:
- Manaka Iwami as Kokona Otori
- Ikumi Hasegawa as Shizuka
- Sally Amaki as Kathrina Griebel
- Maria Naganawa as Yae Niizuma
- Naomi Ozora as Panda Yanagiba
- Rico Sasaki as Chisa Sasuga
- Nanako Mori as Noa Hiiragi
The project is also set to release a manga titled World Dai Star Encore that will begin its serialization on April 2. A game will also be launched in the summer of 2023 and pre-registration will begin on April 9.
