Oshi no Ko Releases Creditless Opening Song Video

Oshi no Ko anime released the creditless version of the opening song video after the premiere of episode 2 on Tokyo MX and Ameba. The opening song is performed by the musical duo YOASOBI who also released a music video for it. The creditless version of the anime’s ending song video was also released.

The OSHI NO KO anime ending was also released, introducing the song “Mephisto” by QUEEN BEE.

Daisuke Hiramaki (Selection Project) is directing the Oshi no Ko anime at Studio Doga Kobo (Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie) with Saori Tachibana (Wasteful Days of High School Girls) as assistant director. Jin Tanaka (Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club) is writing the scripts while Kanna Hirayama (Rent-a-Girlfriend) is doing the character designs. The cast of the anime consists of Rie Takahashi as Ai Hoshino, Takeo Otsuka as Aquamarine Hoshino, Yurie Igoma as Ruby Hoshino, Kento Ito as Goro, Tomoyo Takayanagi as Sarina, Yumi Uchiyama as Aquamarine (young), and Megumi Han as Kana Arima.

Oshi no Ko anime is based on a manga series written by Aka Akasaka (Kaguya-sama: Love is War) with illustrations by Mengo Yokari (Scum’s Wish). Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump has been serializing the series since April 2020 with a total of 11 volumes currently available. 

Oshi no Ko is currently available to stream on HIDIVE and Bilibili. The latter describes the series as:
In the entertainment industry, lying is the weapon. Every day, Goro, an obstetrician and gynecologist who works in a small city, leads a life unrelated to the entertainment business. Yet, the idol Hoshino Ai that he “followed” started to move up the list of stars. Such two realized their worst-case scenario, and from that point on, the wheels of fate started to turn.
