Vinland Saga Season 2 unveiled the final trailer earlier today on MAPPA’s official Twitter. The anime had a panel during MAPPA Stage 2023. Yuto Uemura and Shunsuke Takeuchi attended (they voice Thorfinn and Einar), alongside Shuhei Yabuta (director) and Hiroya Hasegawa (producer). It’s not clear if the post went out earlier than intended by accident, but the tweet has since been deleted. The anime will end this June and episode 20, titled “Pain” is scheduled for tomorrow. The special trailer highlights Thorfinn’s journey so far and includes some new scenes:
Vinland Saga Season 2 began airing in January of this year; two cours were announced from the start. Studio MAPPA took over (WIT Studio animated the first season) while the main staff remained the same:
