The Zatsu Tabi: That’s Journey manga is getting an anime adaptation. This was announced in the July issue of Dengeki Maoh. As part of the announcement, a commemorative illustration by the author Kenta Ishizaka was released.
Zatsu Tabi: That’s Journey is written and illustrated by Kenta Ishizaka. It has been serialized in ASCII Media Works’ seinen manga magazine Dengeki Maoh since March 2019. At the moment, it has eight volumes out. The manga was nominated for “Best Printed Manga” at the 2021 Next Manga Awards.
The manga follows the story of Chika Suzugamori, an aspiring manga artist, who constantly faces new rejections with each submission of her drafts. Frustrated and on the brink of giving up, she has a sudden epiphany: embarking on an adventurous journey that will also heal her mentally. Thus begins her quest to create the ultimate travel comic, based on her experiences.
