The upcoming Hero Classroom anime adaptation revealed a new key visual and trailer earlier today. The anime will premiere on July 9. Studio ACTAS is animating.
Keichiro Kawaguchi is directing the Hero Classroom anime, first announced in September 2021. Kosuke Kawamura is the character designer and also a chief animation director with Eri Kojima. Naoki Hayashi will be doing the series composition and Kotaro Nakagawa is composing the music. The main cast includes”

- Misuzu Yamada as Earnest Flaming
- Hina Kino as Kufurin
- Nao Toyama as Sophie
- Tetsu Inada as Asmodeus
- Konomi Kohara as Eliza
- Emi Sarah Birdcutt as Mao
Kaede Higuchi is performing the opening theme song “Bravery? Naturally?” and Akane Kumada is singing the ending theme song. The opening can be heard in the new trailer:
The anime is based on Eiyuu Kyoushitsu light novel series written by Shin Araki and illustrated by Haruyuki Morisawa. The light novel has been serialized since 2015. A manga adaptation by Koara Kishida has also been ongoing since 2016. Comikey licensed the manga as Hero Classroom (also known as Classroom for Heroes) and describes the plot as:
Blade is a carefree transfer student whose only goal is to make friends with his classmates at Rosewood Academy, a school for heroes-in-training. On the surface, Blade seems like an ordinary boy, but he is hiding a miserable secret with seeds that start long ago, with the defeat of the Demon King at the hands of the Great Hero.
