The second cour of the Dr. Stone: New World anime series is set to premiere this October 2023. A recap trailer for the first cour, which consisted of 11 episodes is now also out.
Dr. Stone: New World is the third season in the Dr. Stone anime series. The first cour aired from April 6 to June 15 this year. TMS Entertainment is animated the third season of the series under Shuhei Matsushita’s direction. The opening theme song was “Wasuregataki” by Huwie Ishizaki while the ending theme song is “Where Do We Go?” by OKAMOTO’S.
Written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by Boichi, the Dr. STONE manga ended after 5 years of serialization on March 7, 2022. It had a total of 232 chapters, and you can read it on VIZ or MANGA Plus. Season 1 of the Dr. Stone anime adaptation began airing in the Summer of 2019 anime season (24 episodes), while season 2, Dr. Stone: Stone Wars, started in January 2021 and ran for 11 episodes.
