A Few Moments of Cheers (Suufunkan no Yell wo) original anime movie has been announced, and is set to be released in the summer of this year. A teaser trailer and visual have been released as part of the announcement.
Studios Hurray! and 100studio are animating it under the direction of Popurika and assistant direction of Ohajiki. Jukki Hanada, known for his scriptwriting in anime titles such as Nichijou, Steins;Gate, Sound! Euphonium, Love Live! Superstar!!, and The Dangers in My Heart, is in charge of the original script. Magotsuki takes the helm of the art direction and VIVI composes the music.
The cast for the anime movie includes Natsuki Hanae (Tanjiro Kamado in Demon Slayer, Ken Kaneki in Tokyo Ghoul) as Kanata Asaya and Mariya Ise (Killua Zoldyck in Hunter x Hunter, Ray in The Promised Neverland) as Yu Orie. Kei Sugawara will be providing the singing voice for Yu Orie.
A Few Moments of Cheers will follow the story of Kanata Asaya, a high school boy who becomes inspired to create music videos after watching a live street performance by Yu Orie, a teacher who had given up on a career in music. The movie is set in the Ishikawa prefecture.
