The previously announced A Few Moments of Cheers movie revealed a new trailer and key visual, along with a June 14 release date. Yuma Uchida and Fuka Izumi are joining the cast as Daisuke and Moemi. Hurray! and 100studio are in charge of the production. Hurray! is a unit consisting of Popurika (director), Ohajiki (assistant director), and Magotsuki (art director). The trio did the ending theme for Shikimori-san Is a Cutie and has also worked on music videos for Yorushika. A Few Moments of Cheers will be made using Blender.
A Few Moments of Cheers plot follows Kanata Asaya, a high school boy who loves to make music videos. One day he sees a street performance by Yu Orie and becomes inspired to create a music video. However, there is one problem – Yu has given up on a music career. Jukki Hanada is penning the script.
Band Frederic is in charge of the theme song. Songs Yu Orie performs in the movie will be sung by Kei Sugawara and produced by VIVI.
The A Few Moments of Cheers trailer was shown during the Bandai Namco panel at this year’s SakuraCon.
