With its October 2025 premiere previously set, the upcoming anime A Gatherer’s Adventure in Isekai has revealed its main voice cast and theme song performer. Nobunaga Shimazaki will voice the protagonist Takeru Kamishiro, while the opening theme will be performed by vocal unit Nornis.
Including Shimazaki in the lead role, the main voice cast consists of:
- Nobunaga Shimazaki as Takeru Kamishiro
- Ayasa Ito as Bee, Takeru’s young dragon companion
- Makoto Koichi as Brolite, an elf they befriend on their journey
Produced by GENCO and animated by Tatsunoko Production in collaboration with SynergySP, the anime is adapting the light novel written by Masuo Kinoko, which has over 1.95 million copies in circulation. It was first announced in March at AnimeJapan 2025.
Nobunaga Shimazaki (Takeru):
At the time of writing this, we’re nearing the final stages of recording. Looking back, I feel that one of the main themes throughout has been “relaxed and joyful.” As Takeru adjusts to life in another world, you can see him becoming more carefree and at ease over time. I truly hope that watching his cheerful journey will bring joy and smiles to everyone as well.

The longer I work in this industry, the more I realize how valuable “encounters” and “connections” truly are. I’ve been incredibly fortunate so far—more than I deserve—and I hope to continue collecting these moments with care and intention, nurturing each one as I go.
Ayasa Ito (Bee):
Bee is a newly hatched baby dragon. Everything she sees, hears, and feels is brand new, making each day full of discoveries. While voicing her, I focused on cherishing her honest and straightforward emotions. As Takeru’s loyal companion, Bee does her best every day. I hope you’ll watch over her warmly and cheer her on. I collect cosmetics! Even if two items look similar in color or texture, they’re completely different to me. Even though I only have one face, I always find myself thinking, “I might need this too,” and end up welcoming new products into my collection. Cosmetic stores are like treasure hunts for me!
Makoto Koichi (Brolite):
Brolite, who speaks and acts like a young boy, is a character that seems to break the traditional image of the graceful and noble elf… and yet, you’ll catch glimpses of their purity as well. I had so much fun bringing Brolite’s ever-changing expressions to life with freedom and energy. And… believe it or not, this character actually turns out to be .… ! While voicing them, I made frequent use of …-like sounds to reflect that nature. What exactly is …? Please look forward to finding out!

I love collecting everyday-use items themed around my favorite characters, and I’ve built up quite a collection.

(Inui) I love collecting masking tape for prepping diamond art, which is a hobby of mine. There are so many fun designs that I can’t help but pick them up. I even use clear cases so I can see the designs from the outside!

A Gatherer’s Adventure in Isekai follows Takeru Kamishiro, an ordinary office worker who finds himself transported to another world. Equipped with enhanced physical and magical abilities, as well as a unique “search” skill that allows him to locate valuable items, he embarks on an adventure in the world of Madeus. Using his new abilities, Takeru sets out to gather rare materials and uncover hidden secrets while navigating an unfamiliar fantasy landscape.
