A New Enemy Appears in BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War Episode 23 Preview

BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 2 -The Separation- anime revealed the preview for episode 10 (episode 23 overall). The episode is titled “MARCHING OUT THE ZOMBIES 2” and will air on Saturday, September 16. It seems like Giselle and her zombies will be the main focus, and you can check out the preview images, staff and synopsis below:

The official website describes the story for the episode:
Ikkaku and Yumichika fight against the zombies controlled by Giselle. However, Giselle had prepared Hitsugaya, the captain of the Tenth Division, as her next pawn. The zombified Hitsugaya’s relentless attacks leave Ikkaku and the others in a state of shock. Hitsugaya also slashes at Captain Mayuri, but Mayuri is undeterred and says he has a medicine he wants to try. Meanwhile, Byakuya is fighting Robert and the others when Hisagi comes to him and swings his sword. But who was on the other end of Hinosaki’s sword…?

Studio Pierrot previously produced the original TV anime adaptation of Tite Kubo’s BLEACH manga, which aired between October 2004 and March 2012 with a total of 366 episodes. VIZ Media licensed it in English, and they describe the BLEACHTYBWA story:

The peace is suddenly broken when warning sirens blare through the Soul Society. Residents there are disappearing without a trace and nobody knows who’s behind it, meanwhile, a dark shadow is also extending itself toward Ichigo and his friends in Karakura Town…
