A Wild Last Boss Appeared Season 2 Reveals New Trailer, Cast and September 26 Streaming Premiere

A Wild Last Boss Appeared has revealed its second Season 2 trailer, confirming that the anime will have a streaming premiere on September 26 a week ahead of its regular TV broadcast starting in October 2026. The sequel was announced immediately after the first season’s finale.

The anime previously revealed new cast and opening theme song “Melodic Impact” by Japanese rock band Suspended 4th. Today more additions were revealed:

• Akio Otsuka as Leon
• Atsushi Miyauchi as Sagittarius
• Shuhei Sakaguchi as Mercurius

The second trailer previews the ending theme “Yurete Skirt” by four-member girls rock band Chakura. Check it out below.

Including the director Yuya ‌Horiuchi, the main staff for the A Wild Last Boss Appeared anime consists of the following members:

Firehead writes the A Wild Last Boss Appeared (Yasei no Rasu Bosu ga Arawareta) light novel series, which features illustrations by YahaKo. It first began on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in October 2015, with Earth Star Entertainment publishing a print edition under their Earth Star Novel imprint from February 2016. Both ended on April 15, 2019.

There is also a manga adaptation by Tsubasa Hazuki, which began serialization on Earth Star Entertainment’s Comic Earth Star website in June 2017 and is currently ongoing. J-Novel Club licensed both the light novel and manga in English. The franchise has surpassed 1.7 million copies in circulation.

The story follows a man who wakes up in the body of his MMO character, Lufas Maphaahl, the feared Black-Winged Tyrant and leader of the Twelve Heavenly Stars, 200 years after her defeat in a player-driven event of the game Exgate Online. But this is no longer a game, but rather it’s reality. With her reign long past and her name remembered only in fear, Lufas now navigates a different world, looking for answers, allies, and a way to confront the chaos and monsters that her “death” left behind.
