Aharen-san wa Hakarenai anime revealed the English dub cast. The dub, which has Emily Fajardo as the ADR director, is set to premiere on April 15 and will follow the Japanese simulcast with a two-week delay.
The main cast for the English dub of Aharen-san anime includes:
- Ben Balmaceda as Raido
- Dani Chambers as Aharen
- Kristen McGuire as Ooshiro
- Jalitza Delgado as Raido’s Sister
- Tia Ballard as Miyahira
Felix Film is animating the Aharen-san anime adaptation, under Tomoe Makino’s direction. Takao Yoshioka is overseeing the series composition and also writing the scripts with Ayumu Hisao. Yuko Yahiro is in charge of character designs. Satoru Kousaka and MONACA are credited for music. The anime is based on a manga by Asato Mizu.

The plot follows Reina Aharen is a quiet, short girl who is not very good at measuring the distance between people. She’s also a bit awkward around people, even around Raido Matsuboshi who sits next to her in class. But, after she drops an eraser and he picks it up, the distance between them is suddenly gone, and a romantic coming-of-age comedy begins!
The Japanese cast includes Inori Minase as Reina Aharen and Takuma Terashima as Raido. Watch the trailer below:
