AmaLee (Monarch) has officially announced that she is leaving the VTuber agency VShojo and returning to being an independent content creator. The creator had joined the agency in January this year.

In her announcement, AmaLee wrote:

“As of today I will be terminating my contract with VShojo effective immediately and I will be returning to being an independent VTuber and content creator. Nothing about my content will change, as I was indie for 18 years before signing with VShojo, and I retain my IP. My love goes out to the talents, I wish you all the best. Thank you so much for your continued support as we look toward the future 🦋.”

AmaLee emphasized that her creative output and streaming activities will remain unchanged, assuring fans that she retains full ownership of her character and content.
