Crunchyroll and HIDIVE Add-Ons Slashed to $0.99 for Amazon Prime Day in the U.S.

Amazon is running limited-time discounted Prime Video add-ons in the U.S. for the anime streaming services Crunchyroll and HIDIVE, both priced at $0.99 for the first two months. Discounted prices are available until July 11. New fans can access hundreds of titles, including Crunchyroll’s Solo Leveling and Gachiakuta and HIDIVE’s Oshi no Ko and Call of the Night, which is currently airing its second season.

The discounts were announced for Prime Day 2025, which celebrates its 10th edition after launching on July 15, 2015. The discounted subscriptions are only for new subscribers, and payment will be deducted immediately.

Other discounted streaming add-ons include Apple TV+ and Paramount+, both of which were revealed last week to be among America’s most popular streaming services for anime. Dentsu’s survey of anime fans in the U.S., EMEA, and APAC regions saw Prime Video, Paramount+, Apple TV+, and Crunchyroll ranked 4th, 6th, 7th, and 10th in the U.S., respectively. HIDIVE didn’t rank at all, while Crunchyroll fared better in EMEA, but didn’t feature in APAC. Netflix took the top spot in all regions; it also recently announced that over 150 million of its members globally watch anime.
