Attack on Titan Producer Hints at New Films and Future Projects

During the world premiere of Attack on Titan – The Official Concert – Beyond the Walls World Tour in Los Angeles, producer Tetsuya Kinoshita teased upcoming projects tied to the globally popular anime series, including the plans for new anime films and collaborations.

Held at the Dolby Theatre on April 12, the sold-out event marked the launch of the first official Attack on Titan concert tour to be held overseas. The show featured live orchestral performances of the anime’s soundtrack, composed by Hiroyuki Sawano and Kohta Yamamoto, accompanied by large-screen projections of iconic scenes from the series. The setlist included 22 tracks such as “Ashes on the Fire” and “ətˈæk 0N tάɪtn <WMId>,” performed by LA-based musicians and vocalists.

The surprise of the evening came when Kinoshita appeared on stage unannounced. In his remarks, he reflected on his time studying film in the US and offered behind-the-scenes insights into the making of Attack on Titan. Most notably, he hinted at what’s ahead for the Attack on Titan franchise, stating that “we plan to continue creating films like LAST ATTACK, concerts like this one, and various game collaborations moving forward.”

Attack on Titan: The LAST ATTACK was a compilation of the Final Chapters specials, and it featured improved cuts and 5.1ch surround sound. A new post-credit scene was also added, adapting the Attack on School Castes spin-off.

Video messages from composers Sawano and Yamamoto were also presented during the event, showing their hands-on involvement in the production of the tour. This marks the first international concert series officially supervised by both composers.

The world tour is organized by Pony Canyon Music Publishing in partnership with The Wild Faery Company. After its Los Angeles debut, the tour is scheduled to visit over 25 cities across the globe, including New York City’s Carnegie Hall, London’s Wembley Arena, and the Sydney Opera House.
