The previously announced anime for BanG Dream!‘s Mugendai Mewtype, titled BanG Dream! YUME∞MITA, revealed a new trailer, visual, and a summer 2026 premiere date. The announcement was made at
NICHICALINE is animating the series with Tomomi Umezu directing and Hiroshi Morita as assistant director. Midori Goto is in charge of the series composition, while Osamu Nobusawa, Mochipuyo are on character designs.
Mugendai Mewtype (Yumemita) members consist of five female Vtubers: Nakamachi Arale (vocals), Miyanaga Nonoka (lead guitar), Minetsuki Ritsu (rhythm guitar), Fuji Miyako (keyboard), and Sengoku Yuno (DJ). Their debut song, “Mugen My World,” was digitally released in November 2023. This is also the only band among the 10 main bands in the franchise that doesn’t have a bassist or a drummer.

BanG Dream! is a multimedia music franchise created by Bushiroad president Takaaki Kidani. The project launched in January 2015, and it originally began as a manga before expanding into various media formats. Since then, BanG Dream has grown to include additional manga series, TV anime series, live concerts, singles and albums, VTuber projects, and a mobile rhythm game BanG Dream! Girls Band Party!
