BN Pictures is producing an original golf-themed anime BIRDIE WING –Golf Girls’ Story-, slated for 2022. A key visual, staff members and the main cast information was also revealed.
The official website revealed the key visual where two characters are looking in the sky with their golf clubs. The illustration says “Golf Girls’ story begins”, and one of their tweets describes the story as a youthful story in which the two female golfers meet and begin their friendship.
Staff
With the direction of Inagaki Takayuki (Chio’s School Road), Kuroda Yosuke (Sword Art Online Alternative Gun Gale Online) will do the series composition and write the script. Hirose Koumi (Cardcaptor Sakura Season 1 ED Groovy!) performs the anime’s theme song. Inoue Toru, representative director of International Junior Golf Association will supervise the anime, and Global Golf Media Group assists the project. BN Pictures (Aikatsu on Parade) will handle the project, which is an original work, and production.
Cast
The main cast has also been revealed. Kito Akari, the voice of Kamado Nezuko in Demon Slayer series, plays Eve, while Seto Asami voices Amawashi Aoi. Seto voiced Nobara in Jujutsu Kaisen anime from 2018 to 2019.
