The preview for Black Butler: Public School Arc episode 5 has been released on the website. The episode synopsis also describes Ciel and Sebastian’s strategy to drag Derrick Arden and the others out of the dormitory. They resort to setting the Violet Wolf, also known as the Purple House, on fire. Despite their efforts, however, Derrick does not appear. Ciel is at a loss but hears some encouraging news that the headmaster will attend the cricket tournament. Though the criteria vary every year, the headmaster will invite one player who will behave the most “gentlemanly” to a midnight tea party.

Black Butler: Public School Arc is the fourth season of the Black Butler anime series. It adapts Yana Toboso’s manga of the same name that was serialized in September 2006.
A-1 Pictures produced the first three seasons of the anime, while Cloverworks is currently in charge of animating the Public School Arc under the direction of Kenjiro Okada. Hiroyuki Yoshino handles the series composition, Ryo Kawasaki is the musical score composer, and Yumi Shimizu is the character designer. Shinnosuke Tachibana is reprising his role as Soma. Otaha is performing the opening theme “The Parade of Battlers,” while SID performs the ending theme. The fourth season premiered on April 13, 2024. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime and describes the plot as:

Forced to watch as his beloved parents were brutally murdered, Ciel was subsequently abducted and violently tortured.
