The announcement follows Shueisha’s trademark application for “BLEACH Mirrors High,” which was filed on July 24, 2025, and published on August 1, 2025. At the time, the application had not yet been examined, leaving fans to speculate about what the title could represent.

Today’s presentation at Anime Expo 2026 gave the first official information on the game. The closed beta test is planned to run from July 22 to July 29, 2026, though the dates are still listed as subject to change. The test will be available on iOS and Android, with 20,000 participants planned. Applications are open until July 12, 2026 at 7:59 p.m. PDT, and selected applicants are expected to be notified by email after July 16, 2026.

According to the official website, applicants will be randomly selected if the number of applications exceeds the 20,000-participant limit. The same email address used for the application must also be registered to the applicant’s Apple ID or Google Account, and selected users will only receive one notification email.

The beta test supports iOS 17.0 or later with 4GB RAM or more and Android 12.0 or later with 6GB RAM or more. iPad and tablet devices will not be supported for this test, and iOS users will need to install Apple’s TestFlight app separately.

The reveal comes during a major year for the franchise. BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War fourth and final cour will premiere on July 25, previously teasing Ichigo Kurosaki’s new form. Tite Kubo has confirmed it will include even more original material than the previous parts, expanding the manga’s final battles.
