BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War 2 -The Separation- revealed a preview for episode 2 (episode 15) earlier today. The new episode will air on Saturday, July 15. Check out the preview images below:

Studio Pierrot previously produced the original TV anime adaptation of Tite Kubo’s BLEACH manga, which aired between October 2004 and March 2012 with a total of 366 episodes. Fans waited for 10 years for the sequel, which will include new original fights. The staff for The Separation includes:

- Series Composition: Masaki Hiramatsu, Tomohisa Taguchi
- Character Design: Masashi Kudo

VIZ Media licensed the entirety of BLEACH manga in English and describes the plot of the current arc as:
The peace is suddenly broken when warning sirens blare through the Soul Society. Residents there are disappearing without a trace and nobody knows who’s behind it, meanwhile, a dark shadow is also extending itself toward Ichigo and his friends in Karakura Town…
The anime revealed a new key visual during this year’s Anime Expo. VIZ Media holds the English rights for the anime. The Separation will have a total of 13 episodes.
