BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War (TYBW) Part 3: The Conflict anime will premiere on October 5, as announced earlier. PIERROT FILMS, previously known as Pierrot’s second studio, will be animating the highly anticipated sequel. Check out the updated version of the key visual featuring the new date:
Studio Pierrot previously produced the original TV anime adaptation of Tite Kubo’s BLEACH manga, which aired between October 2004 and March 2012 with a total of 366 episodes. VIZ Media licensed it in English, and they describe the BLEACH: TYBWA story:
The peace is suddenly broken when warning sirens blare through the Soul Society. Residents there are disappearing without a trace and nobody knows who’s behind it, meanwhile, a dark shadow is also extending itself toward Ichigo and his friends in Karakura Town…
The first teaser trailer for the 3rd part was revealed at Jump Festa, along with the announcement of BLEACH: Arrancar the Beginning musical. The musical is also coming in 2024 and will be the first one for the franchise since 2015. BLEACH: Rebirth of Souls console game was also announced at the Anime Expo 2024.
