Blue Lock Episode 3 Preview Images Revealed

The preview images for episode 3 of Blue Lock were revealed on Wednesday. The third episode of the series titled “Soccer 0” will air on Saturday, October 22. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime with English subtitles.

Blue Lock proved last week that it’s going to continue to be one of the most sought-out anime of the Fall 2022 season among fans. After a shaky start to the season, Blue Lock gave fans steady plot development and well-managed manga chapter rearrangement in last week’s episode. Now, the series will show that it won’t waste any time as we finally get to see our first match this week!

Blue Lock is an anime adaptation of the original manga series written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yusuke Nomura which began publishing in 2018 under Weekly Shonen MagazineBlue Lock is directed by Tetsuaki Watanabe and is animated by studio 8bit. Taku Kishimoto is in charge of the series composition and script. Kenji Tanabe and Kento Toya will handle the character designs. And Jun Murayama will produce the soundtrack.

Blue Lock Synopsis

Blue Lock will be a direct adaptation of the manga that Kodansha Comics describes as:
After a disastrous defeat at the 2018 World Cup, Japan’s team struggles to regroup. But what’s missing? An absolute Ace Striker, who can guide them to the win. The Japan Football Union is hell-bent on creating a striker who hungers for goals and thirsts for victory, and who can be the decisive instrument in turning around a losing match…and to do so, they’ve gathered 300 of Japan’s best and brightest youth players. Who will emerge to lead the team…and will they be able to out-muscle and out-ego everyone who stands in their way?
