BURN THE WITCH anime is officially getting a new anime, which is titled BURN THE WITCH #0.8. It will adapt the prequel one-shot manga chapter 0.8. titled “Don’t Judge A Book By Its Cover,” which was published before the 4 chapters and later compiled with them in the first volume. It’s another work from the BLEACH creator Tite Kubo, and it set in the same universe. Studio Colorido (Team Yamahitsuji) will be animating, with Tatsuro Kawano also returning to direct. The first anime premiered as a movie that was split into 3 episodes on October 2, 2020. They were distributed on Amazon Prime Video and Hikari TV in Japan, and worldwide on Crunchyroll (some countries excluded). It ended with the ‘Soul Society West Branch’ reveal, which confirmed that Noel and Ninny are living in the same universe as Ichigo and co. The voice cast for the anime includes:

BURN THE WITCH was first published as a one-shot manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in July 2018. It began weekly serialization on August 24, and ran for 4 chapters. A ‘season 2’ was announced for the manga in September 2020, though no details were revealed for the franchise until today. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime, and they describe the story:
Historically 72% of all the deaths in London are related to dragons, fantastical beings invisible to the majority of the people. While unknown to most, some people have been standing up to these dragons. Only inhabitants of Reverse London who live in the hidden “reverse” side of London can see the dragons. The protagonists of the story are witch duo Noel Niihashi and Ninny Spangcole. They are protection agents for Wing Bind. Their mission is to protect and manage the dragons within London on behalf of the people.
