Café Terrace and Its Goddesses unveiled a preview for episode 17 with images and a trailer. “A Hot Spring for the Familia Party” will stream on August 1 on Crunchyroll. The episode follows the Café Terrace familia on their prize trip to a luxury onsen. And fans can rest assured, it’s going to be steamy.
Serialized since 2021 in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen, Koji Seo’s Café Terrace and its Goddesses boasts an impressive 16 volumes. Both seasons of its anime adaptation have been animated by Tezuka Productions. The second season features Satoshi Kuwabara as its director. Satoshi Motoyama is the show’s sound director, and script duties are shared by Mayumi Morita and Keiichirou Oochi. Mr. Oochi is also in charge of the series composition.

What’s Café Terrace and its Goddesses about? After a tragic accident orphans him at a young age, Hayato Kasukabe’s grandmother raises him to the best of her abilities. As Hayato grows, he proves to be quite proficient in everything he undertakes. His abilities are so remarkable that he leaves his hometown to attend high school in Tokyo. Upon graduating, he successfully gains admission to the prestigious Tokyo University. But, before he can start his life in TU, his grandmother passes and leaves him her house, café, and the rest of her estate.
Ever the eternal pragmatist, Hayato decides that instead of taking over the failing café, he will sell it to a developer. However, there’s a roadblock to his plans. Along with the café, Hayato also inherits five gorgeous housemates—each of whom holds the café and his grandmother close to their hearts.
