Call of the Night anime released a preview trailer and images for episode 13 along with the title and synopsis. The final episode will be broadcast on September 29 and the title is “Call of the Night,” which matches the series’ name. The anime seems to be adapting the manga’s 44th, 45th, and 46th chapters compiled in the fifth volume. The preview images show the protagonist Ko Yamori and vampires Nazuna Nanakusa, Midori Kohakobe, Seri Kikyo, Hatsuka Suzushiro, and Niko Hirata.
The episode’s synopsis describes the thirteenth episode with the teenager’s mental situation:
Ko was saved by Hatsuka when he was running away from the police. He told Hatsuka about a human who can kill vampires as well as about his indecisiveness about whether he should become a vampire or not. Nazuna, on the other hand, meets Niko, Midori, and Seri…
“I’m away from the night,” Ko Yamori begins this week’s preview trailer and says: “She made me have an unenjoyable night.” He also admits to himself that he is too ignorant about vampires. “I’ve acted cool in front of Ko-kun, I wonder why,” Nazuna Nanakusa reflects on her behaviors. “Until I met you, I’ve been –” The protagonist’s shout to the vampire concludes the video.
