Call of the Night anime released a preview trailer and images for episode 3, along with its title and synopsis. The episode will be broadcast on July 21 and the title is “You Spilled a Lot”, which matches the manga’s 8th chapter compiled in the first volume. The preview images show the two main characters, the protagonist Ko Yamori and vampire Nazuna Nanakusa along with his childhood friend Akira Asai.
The episode’s synopsis is as follows:
“Yamori, what are you doing?” Ko bumps into his childhood friend Akira on his way home after he spends the night with Nazuna. Akira tells him she has been worried about him over his absence from school. After the reunion, he begins to meet with Akira after he hangs out with Nazuna…
“When do you start calling someone a friend?” Ko Yamori asks at the start of the preview trailer. “When? Isn’t it around when you feel they are?” Nazuna Nanakusa casually replies. The school student reveals he doesn’t know what made Nazuna angry because he hasn’t experienced fights with friends very much: “So, I want you to tell me why, and make up with you.” “We were in the kind of relationship where you make up with me? We are only friends with benefits, though?” The vampire, then, reacts in a mean and joking manner. You can watch the 30-second long video on Noitamina’s official YouTube channel below.
