DAN DA DAN Season 2 revealed the preview trailer for Episode 9 (Episode 21 overall), which is set to premiere on August 28. The anime is entering the climax of the season, which recently got teased with a new visual and trailer.
The title of Episode 9 is “I Want to Rebuild the House,” and you can watch the preview below.
DAN DA DAN is also making an appearance at Anime NYC this weekend with a panel featuring series producer Hiroshi Kamei, along with English voice cast AJ Beckles (Okarun), Abby Trott (Momo), Aleks Le (Jiji), and Lisa Reimold (Aira).
DAN DA DAN Season 2 was voted as the most anticipated Summer 2025 anime and has been near the top of weekly rankings since the start of the season. Yukinobu Tatsu writes and draws the DAN DA DAN manga, which has been serialized on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ platform since 2021. Twenty volumes have been published as of July 2025, and the manga has surpassed 10 million copies in circulation.
