The official DanMachi Twitter account announced on Thursday that Season 4 of the anime will air in Summer 2022.
Season 4 of DanMachi was previously announced at the beginning of 2021. A teaser trailer, along with the key visual above, was released back in January of this year. With J.C Staff returning to animate DanMachi, Hideki Tachibana will also return as the series director along with other staff members who worked on the previous season. Since the series became one of many anime set to be dropped by Crunchyroll at the end of this month, Season 4 of DanMachi will be streaming on HiDIVDE.
The series first aired back in 2015 followed by season two in 2019 and season three in 2020. The Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon: Arrow of the Orion film was also released prior to season three in 2019.
The anime series is based on the light novel written by Fujino Omori and illustrated by Suzuhito Yasuda. The light novel currently has 17 volumes published. No release date has been announced yet for volume 18.
