Deadpool & Wolverine has been setting records worldwide, and the movie has officially revealed some the additional voice actors for the Japanese dub. The movie began showing in Japan on July 24, with fans praising both the subbed and dubbed versions. The main characters are both reprising their roles from past movies, including Takehito Koyasu as the Japanese voice of Deadpool and Rikiya Koyama as the Japanese voice of Wolverine.
The newly confirmed Japanese dub voice actors for Deadpool & Wolverine include a star-packed line-up:
- Showtaro Morikubo as Gambit
- Daisuke Namikawa as Pyro
- Takehito Koyasu as Nicepool (played by Ryan Reynolds in the movie)
- Yuuichi Nakamura as Shatterstar
- Romi Park as Lady Deadpool
- Tomokazu Sugita as Cowboypool
- Natsuki Hanae as Headpool
Described as “the most outrageous R-rated hero duo in movie history,” Deadpool and Wolverine took their movie, simply titled Deadpool & Wolverine, to global success. The movie was released in most countries and regions worldwide on July 26, and had a global opening weekend box office revenue of $438.39 million (highest among the movies released in 2024). It is expected to pass $1 billion at the box office this weekend, having already exceeded $900 million.
