The upcoming anime film DEEMO Memorial Keys unveiled a new key visual and additional casts during the second day of Anime Expo Lite 2021 held July 5, Sunday. Signal.MD and Production I.G will be producing the film under the direction of Shūhei Matsushita. The film is an adaptation of the original rhythm game, Deemo.
Cast & Production
Hinatazaka46 idol group member Akari Nibu will be voicing the Masked Lady along with Ayana Taketatsu as Alice. Moreover, the two newly added casts are Akari Kitō who will voice Sania, and Ayane Sakura as Rosalia.
Shūhei Matsushita will be directing the series, while Jun’ichi Fujisaku will be the executive director and Yoshihiro Hiramine as the assistant director. Fujisaku and Bun’Ō Fujisawa will be in charge of the script, while Mebachi is designing the characters. Yuki Kajiura in in charge of the music. Moreover, 15-year-old singer Hinano Takashima will be performing the theme song “Yubikiri-Genman.”

Deemo: Rhythm Game
Deemo is an original mobile rhythm game developed by Rayark Games and released in 2013 for iOS and Android smartphones. In 2015, a PlayStation Vita version of the game was released in Japan. Meanwhile, PM Studios and Rising Star Games released the PS Vita version in North America and Europe in May 2017. In addition, a Nintendo Switch version was released worldwide in September 2017.
Rayark Games is currently developing the sequel of the game titled Deemo II.
