Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Exhibition – Towards the Infinity Castle has been announced. The event will be held in Japan, specifically at the CREATIVE MUSEUM TOKYO in Kyobashi, Tokyo, from November 2, 2024, to March 2, 2025. It will highlight the 9 Hashira, and the event visual features each of them.
This exhibition will showcase the unique features of the nine Hashira members of the Demon Slayer Corps in various forms, highlighting each of their personalities and emotions as they head towards the Infinity Castle. The Infinity Castle arc has a trilogy of movies in production.
Koyoharu Gotoge wrote and illustrated the Demon Slayer manga for Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump. It was serialized from February 2016 to May 2020, getting compiled into a total of 23 volumes. Studio ufotable has been in charge of the anime adaptation from the start. The first season aired from April to September 2019, heavily boosting the franchise’s popularity. The manga then became one of the best-selling series of all time, getting multiple stage plays and video games.
The sequel movie followed. Titled Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Train, it released in 2020 and became the highest-grossing anime movie of all time and paved the way for many more theatrical releases. The movie was re-edited into 8 TV anime episodes and released as an 18-episode second season together with the Entertainment District Arc. Season 3 covered the Swordsmith Village Arc in Spring 2023, while Season 4 covered the Hashira Training Arc in Spring 2024.
