Demon Slayer Taxis Hit the Streets of Tokyo Ahead of Infinity Castle Movie

A fleet of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba taxis began operating in Tokyo today as part of a promotional campaign for the upcoming Infinity Castle Arc film release. The collaboration with taxi app S.RIDE features eight vehicle wraps, each based on Tanjiro or one of the seven active Hashiras from the series.

The taxis will operate through August 11, primarily within Tokyo’s 23 wards and the surrounding Musashino and Mitaka areas. The vehicles are managed by Daiwa Motor Transportation. Most of the designs were previously revealed as character visuals and include:

As part of the campaign, S.RIDE has integrated themed elements into its mobile platform. Users can view the current locations of the wrapped taxis via special character icons on the app’s map and, if available, select a specific vehicle for dispatch.

Taxis equipped with the in-car signage system GROWTH will also screen a limited-time promotional video featuring voice actors Natsuki Hanae (Tanjiro), Akari Kito (Nezuko), Hiro Shimono (Zenitsu), and Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Inosuke). The commercials will run from July 8 until July 27.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Castle Movie 1 is titled Akaza’s Return and is set to premiere in Japan on July 18. Following its domestic debut, Infinity Castle Movie 1 is scheduled to launch internationally between August 14 and September 25, 2025. The main trailer and new visual were recently revealed.
