It is now September 3rd in Japan, which means that it’s Demon Slayer’s Zenitsu Agatsuma’s birthday. The member of the Demon Slayer Corps is voiced by Hiro Shimono in ufotable’s anime adaptation. Although you can only hear music in the birthday trailer as it features moments from the manga, Zenitsu still manages to shine:
The first season of the anime based on Koyoharu Gotoge’s manga premiered in 2019. It quickly won the hearts of anime fans worldwide, largely thanks to its flashy animation by studio ufotable. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Mugen Train movie followed in 2020. Season 2 of Demon Slayer started in October of 2021 with a TV version of the Mugen Train arc. The movie was adapted into 7 episodes and it included a special first episode that wasn’t part of the movie. The sequel titled the Entertainment District Arc introduced a new Hashira – Tengen Uzui and aired in the Fall 2021 and Winter 2022 anime season. The Entertainment District Arc was technically a part of the second season.
Demon Slayer anime is continuing with Swordsmith Village Arc. There is still no premiere date, but a trailer was revealed earlier this year.
