Bandai has announced a closed beta test for its upcoming Digimon Alysion mobile card game, which will be limited to 10,000 players worldwide. The digital card game is based on the existing Digimon Card Game, which is currently available in four languages globally.
The mobile version, developed for Android and iOS, aims to recreate the trading card game experience on smartphones. Players will be able to create custom decks using familiar Digimon characters and engage in online card battles.
Digimon Alysion is also set in the same universe as the Digimon Liberator comic and novel series. In addition to adapting the main elements from the physical card game, it will feature an original story, new characters, and new Digimon evolution lines (“Digivolution paths”) that have not appeared in previous media.

The applications for the closed beta test began today, July 28 at 9:00 AM UTC and will end Sunday, August 3 at 1:59 AM UTC. Participation will be capped at 10,000 players, which will be selected at random if applications exceed that number.
The test is designed to evaluate gameplay systems, server performance, and gather player feedback for ongoing development. According to Bandai, this input will be used to refine the game ahead of its commercial release.
The final release date has not been confirmed, but the game will be free to play, with optional in-app purchases. Nijisanji Vtuber Enna Alouette was previously confirmed to sing the theme song “Firebird Girls” in both English and Japanese.
You can apply for the closed beta via the official website.
